It is with great joy we announce the “Bicentennial Celebration” of St. Clair First Global Methodist Church, celebrating 200 years, two centuries of faith and community service. As noted in the attached agenda, our celebration will begin on Friday, September 25th through Sunday, September 27th. Consider this your invitation to our “Anniversary Celebration”!
Two centuries (200 years) of faith means thousands of worship services that have been held right here on this ground, countless baptisms, countless marriages, countless relationships. The story of St. Clair First Global Methodist Church did not start with us, and it does not end with us. We’re not part of a story that is 200 years old; we are part of a story that is thousands of years old. We are part of a story that God continues.
Our church anniversary shines as a beacon on the hill, reminding us of our calling to be the light of the world. God has called us to be a lighthouse, shining bright for all to see and guiding people to our Savior. Let's continue to let our light shine brightly, illuminating the way for all who are lost and seeking hope and salvation. Let's keep our calling always before us, knowing that our light can never be hidden when we are “Anchored in Christ”.
